OUTCOME:
Client was charged with attempted second degree murder. Client was found not guilty by reason of insanity (NGBRI).
Felony charges of child abuse and aggravated battery causing great bodily harm. Through extensive negotiations, all charges were eventually dismissed.
Faced thirteen felony charges of human trafficking of a minor for a commercial sexual activity, conspiracy to commit human trafficking of a minor for commercial sexual activity, and unlawful sexual activity with a minor. This case was resolved with the State Attorney’s Office dropping the unfounded allegations of human trafficking, conspiracy to commit human trafficking, and unlawful sexual activity with a minor. The client was not convicted of any criminal matters related to these allegations.
Received two injunctions claiming she abused her two children. Both injunctions were voluntarily dismissed due to lack of evidence
Arrested on trafficking in cocaine facing up to 30 years. Following a lengthy motion to suppress challenging the legality of the stop, the Judge granted the defense motion to suppress all the evidence. As a consequence the case was dropped.
Arrested on sexual battery facing up to 30 years prison. On the eve of trial, after extensive defense litigation the state agreed to reduce the case to a misdemeanor, no contest, no conviction battery, and six months probation.
Arrested for manslaughter. Client received 2 years in department of corrections with probation and credit time served.
Arrested on sale and possession of cocaine. Client scored prison but received probation.
Arrested for aggravated assault with a fireman. Charge was reduced to improper use of a firearm with no conviction.
Arrested on a DUI with breath alcohol level above a 0.15. Charge reduced to a reckless driving.
Arrested for lewd and lascivious molestation of a minor. The client received probation.
Arrested for a violation of probation possession of cocaine and fleeing and eluding. The fleeing and eluding charges were reduced to a careless driving and probation was terminated.
Arrested on felony domestic battery and battery by strangulation. Case resulted in 24 months probation and a withhold of adjudication.
Arrested on felony domestic aggravated battery on a pregnant person. Charges reduced to misdemeanor with probation.
Arrested for manslaughter. Charges were reduced to sealable misdemeanor improper exhibition of a firearm with no conviction.
